• Cut 1 pound of spicy Italian sausage (organic) into small disks.
  • Dice 1 large onion.
  • Chop 2 warm-colored (yellow, orange, red) peppers.
  • Boil pot of water.
  • Throw 1 tablespoon of salt into water.
  • Put pasta in water (either rigatoni or penne).
  • Boil pasta for 14 minutes.
  • Put olive oil in bottom of large skillet.
  • Put onion, peppers, and sausage into skillet while pasta is cooking.
  • Put 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning into onion/pepper/sausage mixture.
  • Put 1 teaspoon of mince garlic into onion/pepper/sausage mixture.
  • Put a light coating (about 1 teaspoon) of crushed red pepper flakes into onion/pepper/sausage mixture.
  • Pour a 24-ounce jar of marinara sauce (Italian sauce or spaghetti sauce) into onion/pepper/sausage mixture.
  • Strain pasta.
  • Turn oven on to 450°
  • Put pasta into onion/pepper/sausage mixture.
  • Stir pasta and onion/pepper/sausage mixture together.
  • Apply 1 bag (2 cups) of Italian blend four-cheese cheese to top of pasta.
  • Put skillet in the oven. Heat for 8 minutes.
  • Serve.
